After a lapse of many years NUSCL field a supporters’ football team. Training or matches take place at least once a week and in 2019/2020 we completed friendlies against fans of Villa, Dortmund, Lazio, Juventus, St Pauli, and PSG. We are currently setting up a few pre-season friendlies before we start playing in the league we recently joined. Currently 9 a side but looking to recruit more players to go for 11 a side next season.
All are welcome. If you fancy a game, contact captain Joe at football@nufc-london.com and he will add you to our Football WhatsApp group. We will be looking to set up a social event soon for current NUSCL members – and also to recruit new members interested in playing football.
The football team enjoys regular training sessions and competes in the London Supporters League. This is with a view to potentially putting a mixed side, a women’s side, and a walking football side. If anyone is interested or is already part of groups elsewhere then it would be great to hear from you, and we can work towards putting put a game or three together.
